Ticket to Ride Hails a Cab to New York

Days of Wonder announced today a new entry in their ever expanding line of Ticket to Ride games. Ticket to Ride New York is a game that leaves the trains behind and allows players to travel by taxi cab. The setting is New York City in the 1960’s and the components seem to carry this classic American theme throughout.

The map of New York City is smaller than your average TtR map. The game plays 2 to 4 players and Days of Wonder says it plays in under 20 minutes. It seems this new smaller Ticket to Ride caters to gamers looking for a 2-player option and those looking for a great filler game.

Route cards will take players to sites such as Times Square, the Empire State Build, Central Park and more. Everything from the retro art style of the cards to the little plastic taxi cabs look so unique. Ticket to Ride New York will release in July 2018 and will be available at Target stores nationwide.
